Laurel Valley Soils maintains the strictest quality standards that professional landscapers and growers have come to expect. We maintain and operate a state of the art production facility and manufacture one hundred percent of our products on site.
Our process begins with the strictest of standards for the procurement of our raw ingredients. What sets us apart from the competition is that we do not use any type of municipal, bio-solid, or yard waste products to prepare our compost products. The fact is that we use only carefully selected agricultural and horticultural by-products, which we actually purchase to ensure consistency and quality. These selected feedstocks are blended and mixed at exacting ratios then placed in windrows on our ten-acre composting pad.  Here we closely monitor our compost products for temperature, moisture, and oxygen content to ensure consistency and quality.
Once the composting process is complete all of our custom blending takes place on concrete surfaces with high-tech screens and loaders. We also have the ability to protect our finished products from adverse weather conditions by storing them in one of our large twenty thousand cubic yard capacity storage sheds.
