Our high quality, pre-blended Growers Mixes can save growers time and money, especially those producing their own mixes. All of our mixes contain LVS’s Horticultural Compost (compost based mixes have been known to contain biological disease suppressing agents to help in the control of Rhizoctonia, Pythium, Fusarium, damping off and other soil borne diseases), and are available in bulk or super sacks (one and one half cubic yards).

Standard Mix
Blended from composted pine bark, sphagnum peat moss, rice hulls and Horticultural Compost. This mix covers a wide range of plant requirements. This is a great all around mix with good water holding capabilities. A best value for most nursery crops. It has been reported to Laurel Valley Soils that the consistency and performance of this media has saved nursery managers time, money, and aggravation.

Premium Mix
Blended from composted pine bark, sphagnum peat moss, Horticultural Compost and perlite. Excellent for the production of woody and herbaceous plant material when a lighter mix is desired. We recommend our Premium Mix for quick root-out and fast turn-around.

Custom Blending
